Why social media content is an endless headache

Content eats all your time

An SMM manager spends 8-15 hours per week creating posts for one platform. Copy, visuals, resizing, publishing — a manual process that doesn't scale. Managing 3-5 social channels becomes a 24/7 conveyor.

🎨

Visuals and video — a separate headache

Photo shoots are expensive, stock photos look the same, designer is overloaded. Video content is trending, but one 30-second video takes 2-4 hours. Without visuals, reach drops; with visuals, no resources.

📉

Tried AI — results weren't great

ChatGPT generates «watery» text, Midjourney creates «weird hands.» Without prompt engineering skills, AI tools produce mediocre results, and the marketer goes back to manual work.

✍️

AI copywriting: text in minutes

  • ChatGPT and Claude for posts, stories, newsletters — with prompts matching your tone of voice
  • One-month content plan: ideas, categories, and calendar generated in one session
  • Adapting one text for 3-5 platforms automatically
🖼️

Visuals and video with neural networks

  • Midjourney: unique visuals without photo shoots or stock photos
  • Canva AI: resizing and platform adaptation in seconds
  • Runway: video content from text and images, 30-second clips
🔄

Automation and analytics

  • Publishing schedulers: Buffer, Later, SMMplanner — setup and automation
  • AI analytics: which posts work, when to publish, what to improve
  • Full cycle: idea → copy → visual → publication → analytics

Why prompt engineering matters more than the tool itself

SMM managers spend 6-8 hours on content for one platform per week (HubSpot). Many try AI tools but without prompt engineering skills get "watery" text and "weird" visuals. The difference between mediocre and excellent results isn't the tool — it's the ability to craft the right prompts.

2026 AI tools fundamentally change this process: ChatGPT and Claude generate text in minutes, Midjourney creates unique visuals without photo shoots, Runway turns images into video, Canva AI automatically adapts content for platform formats. However, without prompt engineering skills (we cover the basics in our AI Literacy training) results stay mediocre — "watery" text, "weird" visuals, content requiring complete rework.

EdUnit«s AI for Social Media Content training is 4 hours of practice (two 2-hour sessions) with participants» real tasks. By the end, each participant leaves with a one-month content plan and the skill of creating a full content cycle with AI: from idea to publication.

FAQ

Do I need experience with AI tools?
No. Training starts with fundamentals: how to write prompts, how ChatGPT and Midjourney work. If you already have experience, the training helps structure your skills and master advanced techniques.
Which social platforms does it cover?
Tools and techniques are universal: Instagram, Telegram, VK, LinkedIn, Facebook. We show how to adapt one piece of content for 3-5 platforms automatically. For corporate clients, we focus on your priority channels.
How is this different from AI Literacy training?
AI Literacy is a foundational training for all roles: prompt engineering, automation, AI policy. AI for Content is the next step, specialized: full content creation cycle for social media. We recommend taking AI Literacy first.
Can I create a content plan during the training?
Yes. In session 1, each participant creates a one-month content plan for their project: ideas, categories, calendar, generation prompts. Between sessions — practice: 5-10 posts with AI. Session 2 — visuals and video.
AI content looks «artificial.» How do you deal with that?
That«s exactly why we teach prompt engineering for your tone of voice, not just »press a button.« The right prompt + editing = content indistinguishable from manual. We show techniques for »humanizing' AI text and visuals.
